Teacher Creature
Project Description: The Teacher Creature project is about taking a teachers face and putting it on something or someone new in a different environment. To start out I decided what image I wanted to put the faces on to. Then I downloaded it and opened it in photoshop. Then I picked out what teachers faces I wanted to use and where I wanted to place them. I downloaded and took picture of them to photoshop. I created a new document in photoshop that was the right size and put my background on it. I had to mirror it on both sides because it was not wide enough. Next in new photoshop tabs I opened all of the teachers faces photos and cut them out. After that, I copy and pasted the faces on the background, moved them to the right spot, and made them the right size. I changed the coloring of each face to match the new body. Finally I added my name to it.

Self Portrait
Project Description:
The theme is conveyed through my collage because it is filled with images that represent where my personal strength comes from. For example, I like to go on walks through nature listening to music to calm down and recharge in order to be brave through stressful situations.
- A Self Portrait is a portrait an artist makes using himself/herself/themself as its Subject, typically drawn, painted or photographed.
- Background info on Self Portraits: Since the Renaissance, artists have used self-portraits to explore a basic question: Who am I? While a mirror can reflect what a person looks like, that physical reflection does not reflect the whole self. Self Portraiture insists the artist embark on journey or self exploration in order to make decisions about how to represent him/her/themself authentically.
